It’s very rare that I straighten my hair… In fact, I don’t think I have straightened my hair since high school. So when I was gifted the Sultra Seductress Curl, Wave, and Straight Iron by Beach House PR, I was hesitant but intrigued to give it a chance. I mean, the tool has some really cool elements to it.

The Seductress iron uses this thing called ThermaTru Ceramic Technology that creates even heat throughout the plates so your hair stays shiny and lasts longer, according to Sultra Beauty. And having really thick hair that’s often difficult to style, I was excited for the feature that allows you to indicate the thickness of your hair (thin, medium, and thick.)

When I tried the iron out for the first time – first to straighten my hair, then to wave it – I was very happy with the results! After styling my hair, I found that my hair remained soft, beautifully shiny, and the tool was very easy to use!

Tip: to create waves with the iron, I first closed the iron on my hair, and began curling the tool under (like you would a curling iron.) I ran the tool curled through my hair until it reached the bottom, and released. And wa-la! There’s a wave.
